Signatories to the document are Yuriy Shchygol, head of the State Intelligence Service, and Alesandru Koretskyi, head of the Moldovan service.

Among the areas of cooperation provided for by the Memorandum:

🔹promoting the creation of two-way information channels between the Government Computer Emergency Response Team of Ukraine CERT-UA, which operates under the State Special Communications, and the Cyber Security Center CERT-GOV-MD to identify threats in cyberspace and respond to them;

🔹 exchange of information about cyber incidents, cyber attacks and cyber threats - in particular, using the MISP.CERT.GOV.UA platform;

🔹 informing about cyber incidents, among other things - about attempts to violate information security;

🔹providing advisory information assistance in the investigation of cyber incidents and elimination of their consequences;

🔹 exchange of experience and best practices in the field of cyber protection, etc.

"Cooperation in the field of cyber security is among the determining factors for ensuring the cyber resilience of every state. In order to effectively counter cyber threats, it is important both to combine efforts between the private and public sectors in each of the countries, and to strengthen international cooperation. It is important for us to have reliable partners who help to face challenges in cyberspace and with whom we can also share our own experience gained during countering cyber aggression on the part of the Russian Federation," said Yulia Volkova, director of the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of the State Intelligence Service.

It will be recalled that in November, the State Intelligence Service and the NCCC signed an agreement on cooperation with the European Union Agency for Cyber Security (ENISA), and last year - with the Agency for Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security of the Department of National Security of the United States of America (CISA). The State Special Communications Service also cooperates in the field of cyber defense with Romania, Slovenia, Poland and many other countries.
